Art Therapy is a clinical profession that promotes creative growth and healing for optimal health. No prior experience in art is required in order to participate and reap its full therapeutic benefits. Art therapy is open to all skill levels and backgrounds. Art Therapists are trained clinicians who provide therapy through the use of various media, including but not limited to: painting, drawing, 3-D sculpture, ceramics and textile art.

Christine Byma, MA, ATR-BC, LPAT

I graduated from Marywood University in 2008 with a Master's degree in art therapy. I am a licensed art therapist in the state of Delaware (LPAT), as well as registered and board-certified (ATR-BC). I am currently accepting self-pay clients who reside in Delaware.


I work from a Gestalt therapy theory, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. I am a graduate of the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia I am interested in guiding my clients become their authentic selves through the creative process.
